Using the Phish Report integration for Slack

Phish Report has an integration for Slack which you can use to report phishing URLs directly from a Slack channel in your workspace.

Installation

To install the Phish Report integration for Slack, you'll need:

  • A Phish Report account
  • A Slack workspace where you have permission to install Slack apps (or can get someone to do this on your behalf)

To install the integration and link it to your Phish Report account:

  1. Go to our installation page
  2. Click "Add to Slack"
  3. Click "Allow" to grant Phish Report access to your Slack workspace

Once successfully installed, a new Slack shortcut ("Start a takedown with Phish Report") will be available in your workspace.

Usage

Using the Slack shortcut

To report a phishing site using the Slack shortcut:

  1. Click the ➕ button or type / in the message composer to open the list of shortcuts in your workspace

  2. Search or select "Start a takedown with Phish Report":

  3. Enter the phishing URL you want to report into the modal:

  4. The phishing site will be analysed

  5. Click the Report Malicious 🚩 button to open a Phish Report case:
